Effects of Administrative Policy on Student Performance.

Abstract

High academic attrition rates continue to be of prime concern to the Navy in terms of higher training costs and the resulting shortages of critical fleet personnel. Numerous studies have been conducted on the effects of trainee characteristics, course content, and instructional delivery systems on attrition. However, since the attrition problem continues, it appears that research should be conducted on school administrative policy. (Author)
