Abstract

A summary is presented of activities that occurred during the habitat development field investigation at Buttermilk Sound near the mouth of the Altamaha River in Glynn County, Georgia, between 1975 and 1977. A general discussion of salt marsh propagation, microbial development, and associated animal responses is included. Detailed information regarding habitat development at this site is presented in Appendix A to this report. (Author)
