An Introduction to Deep Sea Drilling in the Indian Ocean,
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to present a simple description of the morphology and structure of the Indian Ocean, to review the problems presented to the D/V CHALLENGER before drilling commenced and to present, within this general context, the highlights of the findings of the drilling program.
