Governing Equations for Viscous Compressible Flow.

Abstract

Starting with the frictionless flow equations, governing equations for viscous compressible flow are developed from a physical molecular transport model by forming a first perturbation of the average flow property value transported across a surface element by two distinct groups of molecules. This results in a continuity equation with viscous correction terms. (Author)
