Sources of Information for Social Profiling.

Abstract

The first step in doing an SIA (Social Impact Assessment) is to profile the impacted area in terms of specific social variables. This handbook is designed to show how impacted areas can be quickly and inexpensively profiled. The crucial variables are identified and the sources of information for these variables are located. An example of this profiling technique is included for illustration. (Author)
