Vehicular Applique for AN/PRC-68.

Abstract

This project covers the development of a vehicular applique to allow operation of the AN/PRC-68 radio set from within certain tactical vehicle, particularly the M-109 self-propelled howitzer. The vehicular applique provides an interface with the vehicular intercom system, an audio amplifier and a loudspeaker and uses the vehicular power system to operate the radio. Six models were constructed and subjected to environmental testing. (Author)
