Vehicular Intercommunications System.

Abstract

This is the Third Quarterly Report for the design study for a vehicular intercommunication system primarily for tracked vehicles. The report covers the time period from 1 April 1978 through 30 June 1978. Accomplishments for this period include the considerations for installation of the intercom in the M-60 and XM-1 tanks. This involves the suggested techniques for cabling and reducing the number of connectors on the commander's control box. During this period the TDM breadboard was tested for operatability in a noise environment. The microprocessor control system is explained and flow disagrams are presented. (Author)
