Manufacturing Technology for Fiber Optic Bundle Cabling.

Abstract

A manufacturing process was developed for the cabling of bundle optical fibers for use on aircraft. The process produces ruggedized optical fiber in large quantities, achieves production cost reduction, and meets the environmental requirements for military aircraft. Specifications for the process are given. (Author)
