System Identification by Reduced Multiple Quadrature.

Abstract

This report introduces the mathematical development and application of a method for identifying system transfer functions from input-ouput data. Discussion covers: (1) Mathematical development of the method; (2) Application of method for analytical examples; (3) Application of method to numerical examples; (4) Noise consideration; and (5) Extension of method to systems having transport delay, to multivariable systems and to a class of non-linear systems.
