Future U.S. Navy Environmental Protection Research and Development Needs.

Abstract

Navy policy with respect to the support of Research and Development in the field of environmental protection is examined in some detail. Directives from the President, Secretary of the Navy, and Chief of Naval Operations all indicate that this sort of activity is a valid one for the Navy. Suggestions for setting priorities are listed to make the selection of specific projects as meaningful and relevant as possible. (Author)
