A Statistical Analysis of Selected Human Factors Involved in Aviation Safety.

Abstract

This report presents a review of the biorhythm theory and performs a statistical analysis on over 2400 aviation accidents obtained from the Army Aviation Safety Center, Fort Rucker, Alabama. The analysis was performed to determine if there was a statistically significant relationship between aviation accident dates and biorhythm caution days. The Binomial Goodness-of-Fit Test was applied against the data. No significant relationship between the aviation accidents and biorhythm caution days was found. (Author)
