Long-Term Statistics of Atmospheric Turbulence Near the Ground

Abstract

A long-term experiment has measured ground-level atmospheric turbulence during all types of weather. From four months of accumulated data, long-term averages have been calculated. Probability distributions and other pertinent statistics have also been evaluated.
