Army Uniforms of the 1980's

Abstract

The entire family of Army Uniforms has been evaluated for adequacy of design or acceptability to the soldier and his mission. The results of a survey of Army personnel determined their opinions of the current family of uniforms, and the improvements desired with respect to the uniforms of the 1980's. A series of design sketches show proposed concepts for service, dress and mess uniforms of the 1980's for both men and women, officer and enlisted.
