Development of Improved Design Methods for Digital Filtering Systems.

Abstract

Design methods for digital filters used in discrete time control systems are described. The sampling interval is first used as a design parameter. Then new design methods for digital control algorithms that minimize multiplication requirements are developed. Interactive software for aiding the design and implementation of digital control algorithms is described. (Author)
