High Energy MHD Fuels Development Program.

Abstract

An analytical study compared the electrical conductivity and velocity squared product for several MHD liquid or liquified fuels. Aluminum additive to liquid hydrocarbon was found to be attractive for high power density MHD. A number of MHD power tests showed that developed emulsified slurry fuels were engineeringly feasible. Various emulsification processes are described. (Author)
