Palladium Tetraazaanulenes: The Synthesis and Structure of Palladium 5,7,12,14 - Tetramethyl-Dibenzo(b,i)(1,4,8,11)Tetraaza(14)Annulene.

Abstract

The first palladium dibenzotetraaza (14) annulenes have been prepared from the reaction of the free base ligand with bis(benzonitrile)paddadous chloride. Analytical data are consistent with the proposed structures. Palladium 5.7.12.14-tetramethyl-dibenzo(b,i)(1.4.8.11)tetraaza (14)annulene was characterized by single-crystal x-ray diffraction.
