Proceedings of the ARPA/AFML Review of Progress in Quantitative Nondestructive Evaluation

Abstract

The edited transcripts of the ARPA/AFML Review of Quantitative NDE held on June 14-17, 1977, at Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, are presented in this document. Several key topics form the core of these presentations and discussions. They include quantitative ultrasonics, adhesives and composites, emissions related to failure prediction, residual stress, and reliability of ceramics. It is believed that this document provides a reasonable summary of NDE research and development currently underway.
