Basic Remote Sensing Investigation for Beach Reconnaissance - Bottom Features Task.

Abstract

A multichannel algorithm has been developed for bottom-type recognition under a variable depth of water. This algorithm is described, and the two-channel version of the algorithm is evaluated theoretically and empirically for several hypothetical and real situations. The radiative transfer model used for development and testing of this algorithm is also described, and an empirical verification of the model is presented. (Author)
