NPS-PASCAL. A Partial Implementation of PASCAL Language for a Microprocessor-based Computer System.

Abstract

The design and partial implementation of the PASCAL programming language for use on a microprocessor-based system is described. The framework for the implementation is comprised of two subsystems, a compiler which generates code for a hypothetical zero-address machine and a translator that generates code for the target 8080 microcomputer. The portions of the system which are implemented are written in the PL/M programming language to run in a diskette-based environment with at least 32K bytes of memory. (Author)
