Surface Preparations for Enhancement of Infrared Surface Current Detection.

Abstract

In order for infrared current detection methods to be useful, surface preparations must be applied to enhance the heat generation and infrared emissivity of the surface. The derivation of the required parameters of surface preparations for metals is presented and comparisons are made between experimentally determined and actual current distributions. (Author)
