Study-Role of the Company Commander and Others as a Gatekeeper in the Army's Internal Information Program.

Abstract

This paper provides the results of a study of the company commander's role as a gatekeeper for information to his or her troops. The study revealed that the First Sergeant plays an equal or greater role as a gatekeeper than does the company commander. It also revealed valuable leadership data about other DA-produced command information materials. (Author)
