Low Temperature Thermoelectric Power of (SN)x,

Abstract

The Thermoelectricpower of (SN)x has been studied from 0.1K to 4.2K. Above 1K a large phonon drag contribution is found, this can be associated with strong phonon-electron scattering. The superconducting transition is observed as is an increasing thermopower below 1K which can be associated with a Kondo effect. An interesting magnetic field behaviour is observed both above and below Tc. (Author)
