Abstract

The inspection was authorized by the Dam Inspection Act Public Law 92-367 and was performed at the request of the State of Maryland as the initial inspection within that state. The Phase I inspection is an evaluation of existing engineering data and a visual inspection of the dam and appurtenances in an effort to determine if it constitutes a hazard to human life or property, and to identify the need for additional studies, investigations or analyses.
