Theoretical Analysis of Transonic Flow Past Unstaggered Oscillating Cascades,

Abstract

This paper presents an independent verification of the collocation method as a technique for calculating the lift on an oscillating airfoil in an unstaggered cascade immersed in transonic flow. This method was originally proposed by Gorelov. Results presented here differ somewhat from those presented by him. Two formulations are shown; one is purely numerical, the second employs an analytic expansion for small frequency. (Author)
