Design and Test of a Mobile Mission Control Station for Use in Balloonborne Infrared Research Experiments (BAMM Project).

Abstract

This report describes the design, fabrication, and field deployment of a mobile electronics semitrailer used to control and command balloonborne infrared research experiments. Systems to provide real time display of telemetered data, uplink control of payload functions and near real time data reduction of infrared spectrometer outputs using a PDP-11 computer to perform Fast Fourier Transforms are included.
