Polychlorinated Biphenyls.

Abstract

Because of the health hazards, the military use (application and disposal) of Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCB) was questioned. This was a survey study conducted to determine: the advantages of PCB's to the military; disposal problems; what applications exist and what alternative fluids exist to replace PCB's. Some related compounds were also reviewed to determine if these should be monitored. (Author)
