A Computer Simulation of a Naval Boiler.

Abstract

A non-linear computer model of a U.S. Navy D-Type Boiler was developed using lumped parameters. The program was coded in IBM CSMP-III simulation language. A companion routine was also coded to permit the user to implement the model for a particular boiler using only readily accessible data. The model was adapted for a Combustion Engineering Type V-2M boiler for analysis. (Author)
