Research Toward the Design and Development of a Prototype Army Literacy Training Program.

Abstract

This report describes the Fort Ord Army Preparatory Training (APT) School prior to being designated an experimental school, to provide a written reference to which the prototype FLIT/APT program may be compared and contrasted. It also presents the major psychological and instructional concepts and principles which will guide the development of the prototype literacy training program (FLIT, Functional Literacy Training).
