Safety Considerations for the RUWS Power System.

Abstract

This report analyzes three grounding schemes for the Remote Unmanned Work System (RUWS) 3000-VAC power system. They are the directly-grounded, the isolated-from-ground and the resistor-to-ground methods. The report describes the possible dangers when faults occur in the power system. The advantages and disadvantages of each grounding schme are identified. (Author)
