Simulation of Sequential Tests.

Abstract

A computer program is presented which simulates a Probability Ratio Sequential Test (PRST) plan from MIL-STD 781C. Upon selection of an applicable test plan and a lower test MTBF (theta 1), the simulation determines, for a chosen range of true MTBFs, the probability of reaching maximum (total) test time before making a decision (to either accept or reject equipment) and the probability of reaching the last failure in the test plan.
