Some Electrical and Electronics Engineering Activities in the USSR.

Abstract

This report covers visits made to scientific and technical institutes in the USSR and to the Popov Society Congress during 12-28 May 1978. Institutes visited were the Krenkel Central Radio Club (Moscow), Institute of Radioengineering and Electronics of the Academy of Sciences (USSR), A.A. Baikov Institute of Metallurgy (Moscow), Institute of the Problems of Transfer of Information (Moscow), All-union Electrotechnical Communications Institute by Correspondence (Moscow), Television Center (Moscow), TV Tower), Moscow State University, Ulyanov (Lenin) Electrotechnical Institute (Leningrad), and the Insitute of Cybernetics (Kiev).
