Basic Reference Frames and Transformations for Air-to-Air Gunnery Assessment Modeling.
Abstract
This report defines basic reference frames and transformations which are offered as standards in Air-to-Air Gunnery Assessment Modeling (ATAGAM). Adoption would make this report a documentztion of these elements of about 12 known USAF ATAGAM models while minimizing their bookkeeping requirements and increasing their general comprehension. The basics are applicable to other conventional weapon delivery methodologies i.e., for missiles, rockets, bombs, cannisters, etc. (Author)
