Abstract

This report presents a systematic methodology to study the transition metal ions of Cu(II), Cr(III), Co(II), VO+2, and Fe(III), and their binding to immunoglobulin G (IgG). Procedures include dialysis, DEAE-cellulose column chromatography, gel electrophoresis, immunoelectrophoresis, ultrafilitration, UV spectroscopy, atomic absorption spectroscopy, and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR).
