High Frequency Analog LSI Development.

Abstract

This report documents all analysis and design efforts undertaken in the first year of a three-year program aimed toward utilizing OAT fabrication technology to develop building block circuits appropriate to the satisfaction of system requirements for communication networks operating through L-band. Basic circuit techniques for LSI are discussed in depth, as are the design and fabrication of universal RF building blocks. The results of a GPS receiver system/module interface study are presented. Finally, the fabricated realization of a GPS test chip is developed and completely defined. (Author)
