Biological Effects of Oil Pollution - A Comprehensive Bibliography with Abstracts.

Abstract

This bibliography is a compilation of abstracts of literature on the biological effects of oil pollution. Comprehensive coverage is provided on oil spill incidents, toxicity, tainting, behavioral effects, physiological effects, biodegradation, effects of cleaning agents, analyses for petroleum hydrocarbons in tissues and other related topics. Over 1200 references with abstracts are included. Rapid access to and cross-referencing of any given abstract is provided by use of a permuted index that lists alphabetically the keywords and corresponding citation number assigned to each abstract. The bibliography should be a valuable reference tool for oil pollution researchers, environmental scientists, federal, state and municipal planners, administrators and other decision makers.
