Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the optimum design features of an Advanced Attack Helicopter Trainer. Since publication of the specification, the Hughes AH-64 has been selected to be the Advanced Attack Helicopter; and the terms Advanced Attack Helicopter Trainer (AAHT) and AH-64 Flight and Weapons Simulator (FWS) are used synonymously in the study. The study was prepared in three phases: a data-gathering phase, an approach-definition phase, and a report-writing phase.
