Standard Test Rack Exploitation Study.

Abstract

The Standard Test Rack (STR), designed to handle a wide variety of experiments and operational payloads, can fly on the space shuttle with a minimum of lead time and within a small space envelope. It is configured to use left-over space including fitting around the space lab tunnel. Minimum interface with the shuttle support systems provides ability for quick reaction installation on a space availability basis. (Author)
