European Undersea Biomedical Society Annual Scientific Meeting (4th).

Abstract

The 4th Annual Scientific Meeting of the European Undersea Biomedical Society was held in Luxembourg on the 12th and 13th of October 1978. This report summarizes the meeting which was concerned with the Medical Aspects of Diving Accidents, and reviews the 20 papers which were given. Presentations were divided into topics relating to one of the four following areas: (1) Unconsciousness of the Diver in the Water, (2) Diagnosis of Decompression Illnesses, (3) Treatment of Decompression Illnesses, and (4) Coincidental Injury or Illness While at Raised Environmental Pressure.
