Abstract

This Technical Report describes the installation and maintenance of the NIPS 360 Formatted File System. It describes the hardware and software requirements of the S/360 Operating System (OS). The functions to be performed to install NIPS 360 FFS are presented and a detailed typical 2314 installation is included as a guideline. The procedures for reporting system deficiencies and for periodically updating the system to incorporate system improvements are included.
