Fragment Hazard Investigation Program

Abstract

This report presents the experimental findings from the simultaneous detonation of Army M107 155-mm projectiles(TNT-loaded) stacked in various pallet configurations. The ultimate goal of the program is to provide a methodology for the determination of quantity-distance safety standards for the safe and efficient storage of explosive-filled fragment producing munitions.
