Abstract

This report covers the work supported by the US Army Research Office. The research involves the utilization of new laser techniques such as time-resolved site-selection spectroscopy and photoacoustic spectroscopy to characterize multistep energy transfer and radiationless relaxation processes in phosphor and laser materials.
