Preliminary Problem Definition Study of 48 Munitions-Related Chemicals. Volume II. Propellant-Related Chemicals

Abstract

The goal of the preliminary problem of definition study on propellant-related compounds was to assess the Army's responsibility for conducting additional toxicological and environmental evaluations on these compounds. In order to assess the Army's responsibility for conducting further studies on these compounds, the civilian and military production, usage and pollution of each compound were comparatively evaluated. A preliminary overview of the toxicological and environment hazards was also made.
