A Study of Acoustic Navigation in Deep Water.

Abstract

The studies carried on in finding an acoustic positioning system have proven that such a system is not only valid for the areas which we are interested in, but also have shown that such a system is accurate. This is especially true if absolute travel time from source to each receiver can be determined.
