State of Art of LaB6 Research, 1978.

Abstract

An overview of present understanding of physics in LaB6 is given: Band-structure in bulk and on surface, phonon modes, emission characteristics, surface stability and fabrication methods are touched upon. No attempt at an in-depth correlation of research results has been made, the report is rather a guide to the most recent literature which has appeared on this subject. (Author)
