Vibrational Relaxation of NH3 (NU2).
Abstract
The V yields T, R rate of NH3 (nu 2) is measured using the method of laser excited vibrational fluorescence. Self deactivation at room temperature occurs in about 7 collisions and requires 1100, 1100, 670, and 530 collisions for deactivation by He, Ar, N2, and O2, respectively. (Author)
