Propagation of Explosive Sound in the Bifi Range.

Abstract

This memorandum deals with a series of acoustic tests conducted in Block Island Sound. In these tests propagation loss is measured under a wide range of thermal conditions, using explosives as sound sources. The values of propagation loss obtained are compared with those values predicted by normal mode theory.
