Computing the Attitude of Fixed-Wing Aircraft from Position Data.

Abstract

This paper describes ANGLE, a computer program which computes the attitude of fixed wing aircraft, given flight-path data, several aircraft characteristics, and a negligible side force. Determination of attitude was identified by the HITVAL Project as necessary in determining the probability of hit by antiaircraft guns. (Author)
