RDX/Polyethylene Wax Compositions as Pressed Explosive,

Abstract

The preparation and sensitivity of explosive formulations prepared from RDX and an emulsifiable polyethylene wax are described. The compaction of these explosive compositions, the sensitivity of the resultant charges to shock and their velocity of detonation are also discussed. (Author)
