Some Two Parameter Problems for Singularly Perturbed Equations of Elliptic Type.

Abstract

This problem determines the asymptotic solution of boundary value problems for nonlinear singularly perturbed equations such as epsilon (delta) u = muA(x,u) dot del u + h(x,u) where epsilon and mu are small parameters. The equations are more nonlinear than those considered previously, and more detailed information is obtained about boundary layer behavior and the necessary interrelationships between parameters.
