The Fractionation of PGB sub x by Molecular Exclusion Chromatography.

Abstract

Preparations of PGBx were separated into active and inactive fractions by molecular exclusion chromatography on Sephadex G-100 or G-150. The optimum pH for this separation was 7.2. Similar results were found with some other molecular exclusion type packings having equivalent porosity ranges. The molecular weight of the most active fraction was 1539.
